X Server
--------
XLibre Xserver
===============
The X server accepts requests from client applications to create windows,
which are (normally rectangular) "virtual screens" that the client program
can draw into.
Xlibre project's fork of the Xorg xserver, with lots of code cleanups
and enhanced functionality.
Windows are then composed on the actual screen by the X server
(or by a separate composite manager) as directed by the window manager,
which usually communicates with the user via graphical controls such as buttons
and draggable titlebars and borders.
That fork was necessary since toxic elements within Xorg projects, moles
from certian big corp are boycotting any substantial work on Xorg, in order
to destroy the project, to elimitate competition of their own products.
(classic "embrace, extend, extinguish" tactics)
