Enrico Weigelt, metux IT consult ee302a1ac0 (submit/drop-obsolete-have-dix-config.h) drop obsolete HAVE_DIX_CONFIG_H
The symbol controls whether to include dix-config.h, and it's always set,
thus we don't need it (and dozens of ifdef's) anymore.

This commit only removes them from our own source files, where we can
guarantee that dix-config.h is present - leaving the (potentially exported)
headers untouched.

Enrico Weigelt, metux IT consult 0bc252a068 (submit/split-input.h) include: move private definitions out of input.h
It's not good having the public server api headers clobbered with private
definitions, so cleaning them up.

Peter Hutterer 46b579e8d5 test: switch the unit tests to something resembling a test suite
The tests have inadvertent dependencies on each other so let's avoid
those by changing to a system that returns a null-terminated list of
test functions and our test runner iterates over those and forks off one
process per function.

Eric Anholt fec9607c8e Remove support for unaligned swaps.
The previous misc.h code went out of its way to allow swapping of
unaligned pointers to values. However, the members of an X
request/response are always naturally aligned within the struct, and
the buffers containing a request/response will also be aligned to at
least 8 bytes, so we can just drop it.

Eric Anholt 4552238960 Add unit tests for the byte swapping macros.
Peter noted a weirdness in my new bswap code, which could use some
tests to justify it.

Keith Packard 9838b7032e Introduce a consistent coding style
This is strictly the application of the script 'x-indent-all.sh'
from util/modular. Compared to the patch that Daniel posted in
January, I've added a few indent flags:

	-bap
	-psl
	-T PrivatePtr
	-T pmWait
	-T _XFUNCPROTOBEGIN
	-T _XFUNCPROTOEND
	-T _X_EXPORT

The typedefs were needed to make the output of sdksyms.sh match the
previous output, otherwise, the code is formatted badly enough that
sdksyms.sh generates incorrect output.

The generated code was compared with the previous version and found to
be essentially identical -- "assert" line numbers and BUILD_TIME were
the only differences found.

The comparison was done with this script:

dir1=$1
dir2=$2

for dir in $dir1 $dir2; do
	(cd $dir && find . -name '*.o' | while read file; do
		dir=`dirname $file`
		base=`basename $file .o`
		dump=$dir/$base.dump
		objdump -d $file > $dump
	done)
done

find $dir1 -name '*.dump' | while read dump; do
	otherdump=`echo $dump | sed "s;$dir1;$dir2;"`
	diff -u $dump $otherdump
done

Peter Hutterer 8bebb4b489 Store desktop dimensions in screenInfo.

screens together (i.e. the whole desktop size). Store that in the screenInfo to
have it readily available in events.
