At the moment, the X server uses a non-default timeout for D-Bus messages to systemd-logind. The only timeouts normally used with D-Bus are: 1) Infinite 2) Default Anything else is just as arbitrary as Default, and so rarely makes sense to use instead of Default. Put another way, there's little reason to be fault tolerant against a local root running daemon (logind), that in some configurations, the X server already depends on for proper functionality. This commit changes systemd-logind to just use the default timeouts. X Server
The X server accepts requests from client applications to create windows,
which are (normally rectangular) "virtual screens" that the client program
can draw into.
Windows are then composed on the actual screen by the X server
(or by a separate composite manager) as directed by the window manager,
which usually communicates with the user via graphical controls such as buttons
and draggable titlebars and borders.
